Nice area, friendly people. We stopped by and had some sammidges, a rueben for me and a bacon ham and cheese melt for my wife. Both were good. Fries and rings were also good. Pre-packaged heat and eat but good quality and price. Good root beer floats!

Meal very good! Service was good too! Well decorated with 'Blast from the Past' Rock n Roll pictures, and mini Juke Boxes on the tables, and the big Juke Box in the rear! (although needs remote speakers- can barely hear the Juke Box- esp w a lot of folks talking) Great 50's 60's atmosphere! Even has WiFi!

A great diner experience......very clean and nicely decorated. The grilled pimento cheese sandwich was delicious as were the onion rings. Our waitress was very good and helpful. Make sure you try some of the desserts. I hope to get back for another visit.

Well, decided to give this place an other chance after the poor review it deserved several months ago. It actually changed for the worse. I walk in, with baby in one arm and diaper bag in the other. I get greeted with a smile and told to sit anywhere. Great start to the experience. Then just down hill from there. No one offered to grab a high chair for me to sit my son. So, with my arms full, I managed to grab one and take it to our table. Guess customers have to clean them off too, as there was old food on there still. That's just the beginning. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Well, the burger obviously used to be frozen. There was one spot on the burger that didn't cook like the rest and it tasted bland. The fries were under seasoned. Hell, my son didn't find interest in the fries and kept dumping them out. Don't recommend them! Stay away and go to the closest fast food place if you want a little more quality and a cheaper price.

I stopped in here before a business meeting for some coffee and a a slice a pie. Good coffee and great pie. The staff was friendly and the wifi easy to connect to. This place will be my premeeting place from now on.

Social Circle has needed Hot Rod's to open back up for quite some time now. Having worked(and dined) in the bar/dining industry for well over twelve years in both New York and the Atlanta area, I was very pleased and impressed with not only the food but the environment. This isn't a your typical hoaxy diner with cheesy decor and cheap, frozen foods covered in gravy. The new owners have obviously put a lot of hard work and thought into every detail and it shows. The atmosphere: welcoming and clean. The food: delicious and very unique for a diner. The staff: friendly and eager to please; a few improvements here and there are needed but this joint is well on it's way to being a town favorite. I highly recommend trying whatever the Blue Plate special is offering-think real home cooking your grandma makes on a Sunday afternoon. The chicken salad was another big favorite and I was told you can even buy it by the pound! The shakes were awesome, they use real ice cream and soft serve. Yum. Overall, this is a must try if you're around and hungry. You won't be disappointed..

Burgers are very yummy... Gyros are yummy... Wings are hit and miss... Reubens are awesome... Two visits in a row, it took over an hour to get food... But recently it hasn't been nearly that long of a wait. The staff are all great!

Had a good meat and two, brisket with fried okra and collard greens. Good service, reasonably priced. Overall a very good option for dining in the Social Circle area.

Nostalgic '50s diner. Great food and service. Get the Larry Munsen hotdog. Ask for Frances...she is a great server!

Upon our first visit to HR's, we were greeted by a friendly staff. Well lit and clean and a very upbeat atmosphere. The food was excellent, especially the pie! Prices are reasonable, portions were good! I highly recommend this place, and I will be back!

Nice place, clean and good prices for food. Food was good too. Really like the jalapeño hush puppies. Kids loved their food and strawberry milkshakes.
